Trowbridge’s new Marks & Spencers Foodhall, located within Cradle Bridge Retail Park, has opened its doors to the public. The building form is a rhythm of pitch roofs, reflective of the local mill and warehouse vernacular, that ends with a flat roof and canopy that defines the entrance to the building.
The design and siting of the building anchors the retail park together with providing a direct connection to St Stephens Place Leisure Park. This is further reinforced by the construction of a new footbridge over the River Biss linking the two strategic sites together which has also been designed by AUA.
