These two smaller commercial units within Cradle Bridge Retail Park have been designed to be simple pavilion buildings with clear spans to provide flexible spaces for prospective tenants. The elevations are again simple with clear zones for signage and a simple palette of materials.
The roof overhang and scale of glazing defines the entrances to these buildings with metal cladding used to define the signage zone and roof canopy. The siting of these 2 buildings allows for a clear vista to the M&S foodhall whilst also opening this side of the site to the town centre.
The scheme has been designed to achieve BREEAM Very Good for the shell construction.
